Moving into the fall with KILLER JOE at Andrews Living Arts Studio

Summer is practically gone! Where did the time go?!

I hope everyone had a beautiful last few months with family, friends, barbecue, travels and such! I spent the summer hard at work on personal and professional projects, going on auditions, and continuing to learn so much about myself and my craft. I'm so excited for the opportunities that I've had to show off some chops to some very gracious companies recently.

From that, I've been given SUCH an opportunity. I can say with great excitement that I have accepted the role of Sharla in Andrews Living Arts Studio's production of KILLER JOE, written one of my absolute favorite playwrights, Tracy Letts.

I am equally thrilled as I am terrified -- if you know this play (or Tracy Letts as a playwright for that matter), you know this is one extremely wild ride, but I can't wait for the challenge. Sharla is the most opposite to any character I've ever taken on and digging my teeth into this one will be a departure from my comfort zone. #dreamscometrue

The show's three-week run begins September 24 through October 11 at Andrews Living Arts Studio (23 NW 5th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301). Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00 PM; Sunday matinee at 2:00 PM. Ticket information will be available soon!

Please, PLEASE note: KILLER JOE is a piece with intense and explicit adult themes, nudity, and violence. It is definitely not recommended for children (or even teens, really) -- patron discretion is advised!

So, if you're in for an insane theatre experience, I hope to see you there.

So much gratitude.
